International Day of Peace Celebration

We are pleased to invite you to join us in celebrating the Annual International Day of Peace on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 2:00-5:00 pm. This free, family-friendly event will take place at SE Hawthorne & 50th Avenue, Portland, OR, and is open to all.

This year’s celebration promises to be an inspiring day filled with speakers, cultural performances, and engaging booths from community organizations, all coming together to highlight the importance of peace, unity, and social justice.

The event is organized by the Sustainable Southeast Community Coalition (S2C2), in partnership with the United Nations Association Portland Chapter (UNA- PDX). Our goal is to create a space where individuals from all backgrounds can unite in a shared vision for a peaceful and sustainable future. This event is an opportunity for all of us to come together, share our stories, and work towards a more peaceful world.
